My stay at Hotel La Joya was absolutely perfect. It was my first time to Pachuca and only for one night to attend a concert. The room was quite spacious and clean, the adjacent store and restaurant are fantastic and open late. But it was the staff at the hotel that made my stay memorable. Try as I might I still cannot converse very well in Spanish. Their kind effort and attention to my inquiries about transportation to/from the concert and help they granted me made my trip there a success. Having a Starbucks right across the street is surely an added bonus.

Staff was friendly and helpful. Hotel location is good, there is a Sanborns right there in case you need any last minute items that you forgot. I felt like I got good value for the hotel, it seems nicer than expected based on the price.

The hotel was so nice and location was perfect that we actually added two more days to our stay. .The two extra days that we added included breakfast. Their breakfast was delicious. The personnel in general was super attentive and courteous. I highly recommend La Jolla.

It is called a 2 star hotel but had a good location and clean environment. It is a bit far from the city center, so it is quiet and there are many restaurants and facilities around, so there was no difficulty in staying.
